On August 15, a special community screening of the hit Chinese movie Dear You was held in Cebu, with Consul General Zhang Zhen in attendance to deliver a remark to the audience.

In her address, Consul General Zhang noted that the profound love for family and friends is a spiritual bond passed down through generations of overseas Chinese, and also the warmest common language that connects the Chinese and Filipino peoples. She spoke highly of the long-standing and  irreplaceable contributions made by the Filipino-Chinese community to advancing Chinese-Filipino  friendship, promoting mutual understanding, and boosting local economic development and social welfare.
