On August 13, Consul General Zhang Zhen paid a courtesy call on Governor Pamela Baricuatro of Cebu Province. They had discussions on matters of mutual interest, sharing the commitments for enhancing the relations between sister provinces of China and Cebu Province.

Consul General Zhang Zhen also elaborated China's principled position on Taiwan question.
