I. Work position

 Mainly engaged in news gathering, event coordination and other related work.

II. Recruitment requirements

A. Must have Filipino citizenship or ;obtained permanent resident status in the Philippines, male or female, under 35 years of age.

B. Graduate with Bachelor’s degree or higher, proficient in English, Tagalog or Visayan languages, with strong skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Applicants who can speak Chinese (Mandarin) are preferred.

C. Strong news sensitivity and understanding.

D. Excellent communication, writing and research skills, and service consciousness.

E. Good health and Zero criminal records.

III. Recruitment process

A. Interested & qualified applicants are requested to fill in the "Application Form For Employee Recruitment of the Chinese Consulate in Cebu" (please indicate "application" in the email subject) together with proof of identity (e.g. passport, driver's license, permanent residence card, etc.). Electronic copies of academic certificates and other application materials shall be sent to consulate_cebu@mfa.gov.cn

B. The Consulate will review qualifications of the applicants and arrange for shortlisted applicants to participate in the written test, interview and physical examination. Salary will be based on the applicant's educational background, work experience, competency, etc., and will be negotiable.
