China and the Philippines are close neighbors across a narrow strip of water and enjoy a long tradition of friendly exchanges. In January 2023, the heads-of-state of our two countries met in Beijing and provided strategic guidance to the development of China-Philippines friendly relations, commit our two countries to staying good neighbors helping each other, good relatives sharing affinity, and good partners for win-win cooperation, delivering more benefits to the two peoples and contributing more positive energy to peace and stability in the region.

Established in 1995, this Consulate General works to serve a consular district of 12 provinces in the central part of the Philippines. Covering an area of approximately 52,000 square kilometers, this consular district is the major center of economy and hub of trade and transportation next to the country’s capital region. My colleagues and I are committed to promoting friendly exchanges and cooperation between Chinese local governments and the local governments in our consular district in the Philippines, supporting our bilateral relations and providing consular services to Chinese citizens and enterprises.
