On June 27, Consul General Zhang Zhen visited the University of Visayas and donated some China-related books. She made a presentation for the teachers and students about China, and encourage them to have more knowledge about a true China. She expressed wishes for development of people-to-people friendship and welcome more students to visit China for exploring China's culture and progress.

To mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Philippines, Consul General Zhang Zhen was invited to be the speaker for this special edition of UVreka, UV flagship program for thought leadership, cultural exchange, and international dialogue.
