Consul General Zhang Zhen was invited to attend the Balik Cebu Virtual Update Meeting and expressed her warm congratulations and best wishes to both the Mactan International Airport and China Eastern Airlines, as well as to the travel agencies and operators present. 

Consul General Zhang Zhen expresses her delight at the resumption of the direct flight from Shanghai-Cebu and vice-versa.

“This development is greatly conducive for people-to-people exchanges, especially for the tourism industry”, said Zhang. Direct flights will surely encourage more tourists and visitors to travel between relevant regions of the two countries, she added. 

More than 60 enterprises or relevant operators including Mactan International Airport, China Eastern Airlines, and international travel agencies participated in the event.
